Memorial service for George G. "Butch" Simpkins will be at 1:30 pm Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Bill Schneider, Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, Lawton officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Lawton, OK.

George G. "Butch" Simpkins, 67, Lawton passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 in a Norman hospital.  He was born March 29, 1949 in Wichita Falls, TX to William J. and Nora O'Neal (Vann) Simpkins.  He was a successful businessman his entire career and the proud founder and owner of Able Roofing and Siding in Allentown, PA.

Survivors include his wife Patricia Ann Simpkins of the home, a sister Wynona K. "Kelly" Simpkins of Augusta, GA, two daughters, Michelle Renay Thurman of Lawton, Barbie Lynn Simpkins of Lawton, his son Mark Anthony "Bubba" Simpkins and daughter-in-law Lisa Marie Simpkins of Northampton, PA, six grandchildren, Shanna M. Ingle, Tommy W. Simpkins, Shane G. Simpkins, Michael A.L. Simpkins, Kelsey M. Simpkins, Timothy R. Williams, Jr., George G. Alex Simpkins and one great grandchild, Aiden Simpkins.  He is also survived by a host of extended family and treasured friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents William J. and Nora O'Neal Simpkins, Petro and Anna Marie Sharga and his sister Katheryn O. Zawacki.
