Graveside funeral service for Gayle A. Adams will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016, in Highland Cemetery with Rev. Bill Bone officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Gayle A. Adams, age 79, Lawton , died Thursday, July 21, 2016 in Lawton .  She was born June 23, 1937 in DeWitt , Arkansas to William W. and Dorothy E. (Simmons) Simpson.  She graduated high school in Pine Bluff , Arkansas .  Gayle moved to Lawton in the early 1960's and took a job with Arkla Gas Company.  She married Charles L. Adams on August 20, 1965 at Fort Sill and became a homemaker.

Gayle was a natural caregiver and was known by many as "Grandma Gayle".  She was a member of Lawton First Assembly.

She is survived by her husband, of the home; her daughter, Sandra Hamilton, Lawton ; her granddaughter, Devon Hamilton, Lawton ; her brother, Dennis Simpson, San Antonio , Texas ; and her sister, Debbie Hodges, Lawton .

Her parents preceded her in death.
