Funeral service for Frederick Kenneth Walters will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2026 in Central Baptist Church with Dr. Jared Byrns officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church on Monday prior to the funeral service.

Frederick Kenneth Walters died Monday, July 20, 2026 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 87. He was born July 25, 1938 in Oaklyn, New Jersey to Edgar Elijah and Anna Walters. He married Catherine Betty Davis on August 24, 1957 at Sacred Heart Church in Vineland, New Jersey. She preceded him in death on October 16, 2016.

Frederick began working for Binkley Stores, Inc., a New Jersey based "five and dime" variety store, at an early age. He began as a stock boy, transitioned to the role of buyer and ultimately became president of the company prior to his retirement.

He is survived by children, Thomas J. Walters, Catherine DeChristafaro and husband Ron, and Betty Anna St. John and husband David; five grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Albert F. Walters, and seven siblings.
