Age 77, Lawton - Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Bethel Baptist Church with Dr. Forrest L. Keener and Pastor Dean Robinson, officiating. Mrs. McCune died Thursday in Marlow. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born May 24, 1930 in Bray, Oklahoma, to C.J. and Birdie Ward Morrison. She attended first through fourth grades at Lone Oak, Oklahoma, and her remaining years at Bray and was a graduate of the class of 1948. She married Robert McCune on August 25, 1962 in Marlow. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2004. She retired from Fort Sill National Bank after 30 years and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved to work in her yard and garden and visit with her neighbors and church family. She was active in the Marlow Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed listening to music and playing games. She is survived by four sisters and brothers in law, Tommie and Lewis Atkinson, Faye Hayes and fiancé, Phil McDonald, and Irene Cofer, all of Marlow, and Leota and Paul Bowman, Durant, Oklahoma; a brother and sister in law, Luther and Wanda Morrison, Marlow; a special niece, Rovene Branum; and a host of other nieces and nephews. Her parents, two brothers, M.L. and Junior Morrison, and two sisters, Beatrice Maxwell and Bernice Brooks, preceded her in death.
