Frances "Nana" Burnett, 73, Lawton had her Heavenly homecoming on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her home in Lawton.  She was born July 19, 1944 in Wichita, KS to Kermit "Byron" and Helen Frances (Wade) Larkham.  Frances lived her childhood days in Blackwell, OK, graduating from Blackwell High School.  She attended college in Tonkawa for a few years, then finished her Bachelor's degree in home economics at the Oklahoma College for Women in Chickasha.  Following her graduation, she started working for the Department of Human Services in Chickasha, where she worked until she married and moved to Rush Springs.  She started her family in Rush Springs where she lived until 1982 when she moved to Lawton.  She later went back to work for DHS where she retired after working in Adult Protective Services for many years.  She was very active in her church and cherished working with the babies and preschoolers as well as singing in the choir.  She had a passion for sewing and was fortunate enough to bless her community with her talents.  She cherished the time she was able to spend with her children, grandchildren and grand dogs.  Above all she was a Godly example and selfless servant to her family, her church and her community.  What an amazing legacy she left for us all.

Frances is survived by her 2 children: her daughter Monica Brokaw of Lawton, OK, son Kent Burnett and wife Melissa of Fort Worth, TX, 6 grandchildren; Jessica, Dakota, Ally, Hailey, Sam and Hunter, and her 4 grand dogs; Eddie, Zoey, Piper and Oliver.  She is also survived by numerous other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Kermit Byron Larkham, Jr.
