Age 89, Lawton - Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Geronimo with Rev. Herschel R. Lindsey, officiating. Mrs. Allen died Saturday. Burial will be in Walters Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born May 20, 1918 in Hickory, Oklahoma to James A. and Lola (Jones) Mallow. She grew up in the Walters area and graduated from Walters High School. She married H. W. Allen on February 29, 1936 in Walters. He died December 9, 1993. Mrs. Allen retired as a deputy court clerk from the Comanche County Court Clerk's office. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Geronimo. Survivors include a son, Raymond Allen, Oklahoma City, two daughters, Phyllis Thomason, Oklahoma City and Janie Brooksher, Lawton, four grandsons, Joe Allen, Brent Allen, Chace Brooksher and Tyler Brooksher, seven great grandchildren, Laura Allen, Julia Allen, Rory Allen, Olivia Allen, Skye Brooksher, Ralea Brooksher and Tate Brooksher and a step grandson, Jeremy Thomason. She is preceded in death by a son, Jerry.
