Word has been received of the death of Floyd Melvin "Junior" Etter, 56, Fletcher. No services are planned at this time. Mr. Etter died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 near Fletcher. Junior was born August 16, 1957 in Key West, Florida to Floyd M. Sr. and Bertha Olive (Peasley) Etter. He was a handy man working in construction and farming. Junior was a loving brother. He is survived by his son, Martin Wayne Etter; two sisters, Nora Tomlin and Valerie Kyees; a brother, James Kendall; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Glenda.
