Floy M Tunget, age 90, passed to her eternal home with Jesus Saturday December 30, 2023, surrounded by her husband and loved ones. She was born Sept 29, 1933 to Luther and Ruby (Huddleston) Fowler in Bray, Stephens County, OK.

She was raised in the Bray area and graduated from Bray High School in 1951. Either the day she graduated or the day after her dad drove her from Bray to Lawton by way of Rush Springs, because it had rained and flooded Beaver Creek on Highway 7 so she could immediately go to work at Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator along with her sister Ruth.
She met her future husband Harold (Jim) Tunget at the Highway Cafe and they married on December 15, 1951. Celebrating 72 years of marriage this past December 15.

She left the workforce to raise their four children but returned to work in 1970 at Lucille's Dress Shop in downtown Lawton. She ended her work career as a Civil Service Civilian Payroll Clerk at Fort Sill Oklahoma in 1991.
She had attended church in Lawton since 1951 and had served as Sunday School teacher and song leader at various times. They attended other churches over the years but spent most years attending Calvary Assembly of God, 9th and Lee Church of God and Trinity Assembly of God over a span of 72 years.

She was a devoted wife and mother then grandmother and great grandmother, loved family gatherings, birthdays and reunions. Loved watching sports. Attended all the sports games of her children and when possible, the grandchildren's.

Floy is survived by her husband, Harold (Jim) Tunget, her sons, Rick of Dallas Texas, Terry and his wife Lina of Lawton, Tim and his wife Caren of Bakersfield CA, her daughter Renae and her husband Ricky Keller of Lawton, grandchildren Leigh Ann Keller, Dustin and Jerin Tunget, Stacey Tunget, Kerry Tunget, Jordan Tunget, Tyler Tunget, Cheryl Stewart and Gary Landrum, 22 great grandchildren at the last count and one great great grandchild, Jonah.

Her first great grandchild Kelsie Roloff was born on her birthday, and we celebrated their birthdays together as often as we could since Floy claimed Kelsie as her birthday present. The other 21 greats followed Kelsie of course.

A special thank you from the family goes to her granddaughter Leigh Ann Keller who was her full-time caregiver over the years and especially for the last few years and to CompleteOK Hospice who were nothing short of spectacular in caring for our precious wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Floy was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and her granddaughter Jamie Renae Tunget.
