Funeral Mass for Florentina Luina-Quintero will be 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Rev. Rayanna Narisetti, associate pastor and Deacon Bob Quinnett officiating.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 15, 2016 at the funeral home.

Florentina Luina-Quintero, age 69, of Lawton, died Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her home in Lawton.

She was born October 15, 1946, to Joe P. and Lydia Gomez in Emporia, Kansas were she grew up and attended grade school. On December 1, 1962, she married Aurelio Luina-Quintero and their union welcomed four beautiful children. She served faithfully as a military spouse and was a dedicated and loving mother. She was a woman of faith, loved life, and was kind to everyone. She was pure of heart and brought so much joy to others. She was a trusted caregiver to many children throughout the years and worked for a brief time in the cafeteria at Saint Mary's Catholic School. Everyone who knew her was blessed by her wonderful spirit, vibrant personality, and generous heart. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed music, singing, dancing, laughing, playing bingo, and watching her grandchildren play sports. She was greatly loved and will be missed by many.

Survivors include her husband, Aurelio Luina-Quintero of the home; four children: Carmen Carroll and her husband Kevin of Lawton, OK; Jose Luina and his wife Charlotte of Hawkins, TX; Aurelio Luina Jr. of Wichita, KS; and Adela Thompson and her fiancé Michael Cavil of San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren: Dominique Conrady and her husband Andrew of Lawton, OK; Ciara Allen and her husband Kellen of Lawton, OK; Christopher Luina-Quintero and his wife Mary of Lawton, OK; Tony Luina-Quintero and his wife Charlene Torres of Lawton, OK; Arianna Carroll of Lawton, OK; Jordan Thompson and his girlfriend Courtney Sandy of Morgantown, WV; Kele Thompson of Katy, TX; Gunner Thompson of Houston, TX; and Nicholas Luina of Wichita, KS; ten great grandchildren: Angelicia Alexander, Kevin Alexander, Jaxon Conrady, Zoey Conrady, Christian Luina-Quintero, Matthew Luina-Quintero, Alexander Luina-Torres, and Noah Luina-Torres all of Lawton, OK; and Raedyn Thompson and Carter Thompson of Morgantown, WV; two brothers: Anthony Gomez of Emporia, KS and Tommy Gomez of Springfield, MO; two sisters: Ernestina Robledo of Emporia, KS and Frances Gomez of Emporia, KS; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe P. and Lydia Gomez; three sisters Josephina Campuzano, Dolores Gomez-Jones, and Joan Barber; and great grandson Asher Allen.
