Graveside service for Flora Jean Arrington will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2025, at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma with Pastor Byron Fransoi of Newlife Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating.

The family will greet friends on Sunday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at the funeral home.

Jean Arrington was born on October 16, 1948, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Sherman and Lilly Bell (Martin) Newport. She passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, in Lawton at the age of 76. She graduated from Eisenhower High School, Class of "66". She married Klemit T. Arrington on December 5, 1969, in Lawton, Oklahoma and together they had two sons. She had a long and distinguishing career as an Executive Assistant. She worked for Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia, the City of Lawton and the Marie Detty Youth Shelter. But the greatest and most enjoyable job was getting to be the babysitter for her grandchildren from the time they were born until they went to school and then some. She was a dedicated church member and enjoyed being a blessing to others.

Jean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be missed by all those that knew her.

Jean is survived by her husband of the home, Klemit, two sons, Klemit T. Arrington, Jr. and wife Audrey and Kerry T. Arrington and wife Shandra, eight grandchildren, Adam Del Ciello-Cox, Shelby Parker and husband Brandon, Matthew Arrington and wife Kaylea, Samuel Arrington, Jacob Arrington, Kihe Arrington, Shylah Arrington, and Harbor Arrington, four great grandchildren and one sister, Linda Talton.

She was preceded by her parents and one sister, Beverly Berry.
