Funeral service for Finis Dayton Hand will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2016 in Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delbert Hughes, Pastor, Rogers Lane Church of God officiating.

Private family burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Finis Dayton Hand, age 84, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.  He was born May 12, 1932 in Caddo County, Oklahoma to Andrew and Mildred Hand.  He grew up around the Gotebo and Hobart areas.  He married Goldie McAlister on January 20, 1951.  They lived in Lawton and Central High all their married life.  Finis worked for the City of Lawton's Highland Cemetery for 39 years before retiring in 1992.  He was a minister and loved to sing and play the guitar.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dayton and Debbie Hand, Lawton and Paul and Mary Hand, Marlow; a sister, Eunia Greear; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Shirley Kirk, his grandson, Douglas Kirk, his brother, Bud Hand, and his sister, Elda Mae Bowman.
