A private family service will be held for Fern Lavern Munoz, 78, of Lawton, Oklahoma.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Fern Lavern Munoz was born October 17, 1941 in Shelby, Mississippi to Julius Delton Long and Doris Aline Cox McKenzie.  She was a great mother, always smiling and loved seeing the grandchildren and family when they visited.  She left this world on her birthday, October 17, 2019.  "Happy Birthday Momma".

She is survived by her children, Tammy Hardman of Lawton, Angel Waldorf and spouse Daniel  of Sterling, Oklahoma, Susan Hall and spouse Tony of Myrtle, Mississippi, Nicholas Prather and spouse Vickie of Kansas, her sister Barbara Ann Underwood,  her ex-spouse CSM (Retired) Ray Prather and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Bobby Joe Long.
