Age 78, Lawton - Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Wednesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Deacon Bill Adamson, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiating. Mrs. Santos died Thursday at her residence. Burial will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A Rosary will be held at 6:30pm Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born November 23, 1931 in Chirique, Panama to Ignacio and Paula Rodriquez. She married MSG (Retired) Angel Hernandez Santos on April 5, 1949 in the Panama Canal Zone. He died June 29, 1994. She was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Mother was our best friend, our rock of Gibraltar, and with a heart of gold she touched everyone she crossed paths with, no matter who you were, she was there with open arms, never letting anyone feel like a stranger. Her love for everyone was unconditional. She is our strength and our foundation. Mom's stature disguised the size of her love, selflessness, and caring for others. Her kindness, smile, sense of humor and everything that made her great will live on. She created a beautiful and long lasting legacy for her family. She is survived by her children, Lulu from Myrtle Beach, SC, Luis and wife Lynn from Salina, CA, Omar and wife Debbie of Cedar Park, TX, Osbaldo, Tacoma, WA, Diana and husband Anthony of Lawton, OK, Rose and husband George of Houston, TX, Rafael and wife Jerri of Lawton, OK, Angel III and wife Mireya of Humble, TX, Charmaine and husband Del of Midlothian, TX, a son-in-law Mario Matos of Lawton, OK, 33 Grandchildren, 39 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Angle Hernandez Santos, son Angel Santos, Jr., daughter Elsa Matos, son-in-law Mike Shelton, grandson Adam Shelton, great-grandson Elijah Ever and a sister Maria Cruz.
