Memorial Service for Faye Ola "Sissy" (Monks) Frysinger will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Southside Baptist Church in Snyder, Oklahoma.

Faye Ola "Sissy" (Monks) Frysinger, 65, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Headrick, Oklahoma. She was born on September 24, 1959, in Bakersfield, California to Kenneth James and Ola Leona (Capehart) Monks. She married Curtis W. Frysinger on December 28, 1981. She worked as a housekeeper in a nursing home and rehabilitation center. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all those who knew her.

Sissy is survived by her two daughters, Lacey Knox and partner Curtis Smith of Headrick, Oklahoma and Stacy Mendoza of Jacksonville, Florida, son-in-law, Carlos Mendoza of Headrick, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, Natalie Mendoza of Jacksonville, Florida, Nathan and Deanna Long of Mountain Park, Oklahoma, Jordan Berry and partner Trevor Burdine of Powe, Missouri, Madison Knox of Lawton, Oklahoma, Kelly Knox of Snyder, Oklahoma, Lisa Knox of Snyder, Oklahoma, Levi Griggs of Norman, Oklahoma and Skylar and Vivian Smith of Headrick, Oklahoma, two great grandchildren, Oliver Long and Evelyn Burdine, one brother, Kenneth James Monks of Montana.

She was preceded by her parents, her husband, and one brother, Jerry Don Monks.
