Funeral service for Ethan Reed Hendy will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Grabman, Synod Appointed Minister of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Lawton, Oklahoma officiating

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.

Ethan Reed Hendy passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 in Oklahoma City.  He was born December 21, 2021 to Derek and Sarah (Jones) Hendy in Lawton.

Ethan's boundless joy and playful spirit touched everyone around him. He loved playing outside and blowing bubbles, rain or shine. Often, he would ask his parents and grandparents to let him "drive" their cars, delighting in the thrill of pretend adventures. Trains captivated him, and he spent countless hours playing with them and watching them go by. Ethan's silliest personality and infectious giggle brought smiles to all who knew him. He was a precious gift, and his memory will forever warm the hearts of his family and friends.

Ethan is survived by his parents, grandparents, Dian and Harlan Hendy, and Loretta and Ted Stevens, aunt, Desiree Hendy, uncle, James Jones, and great grandmothers, Dottie Stern and Christine Payette.

Ethan was full of love and will continue to help other families as an organ donor.
