Age 62, Lawton - Graveside memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday in the Sterling City Cemetery, Sterling, with Jim McGuire, Chaplain, Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma, officiating. Mrs. Tripp died Tuesday in a local hospital. Inurnment will be in Sterling City Cemetery, Sterling, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (formerly Robbins Funeral Home). Esther was born on September 20, 1945 in Alton, Illinois and grew up in Oxford, Mississippi. She graduated from University High School and the University of Mississippi. After graduation she lived in Sterling for over twenty years before moving to Lawton. She was the daughter of the late Maxine and Harley Tripp of Oxford, the granddaughter of Sadie and Horace Tripp, and niece of Muriel Liles of Sterling. She is survived by two brothers, Harley Tripp and his wife, Martha, of Gunnison, Colorado and Steve Tripp of Shreveport, Louisiana.
