Let it be known, Esther Helen (Evans) Roberts went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus on the 26 day of February, Year of Our Lord, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 2nd of March, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, Fletcher, OK with Rev. Rodney Campbell, Pastor and Rev. Leslie Roberts officiating. She was born October 5, 1923, in Mullinville, Kansas to Budd and Nora (Kimberly) Evans. She married Thomas Emory Roberts on October 9, 1944, in Greensburg, Kansas. He preceded her in death May 1996 after 51 years of marriage. She went to school in Haviland, Ks and later went to Business College in Hutchinson, Ks. She lived most of her married life in Ulysses, Kansas after traveling extensively throughout the Western United States and Canada She lived her later years in Cyril, Ok. She is survived by the only son, Thomas Budd Roberts of the home, a brother Arnold Evans and a sister in- law Beatrice Evans and numerous family and friends scattered throughout the country. She was preceded in death her parents, brothers, Ralph, Floyd, Homer, Roy, Merle and one sister, Margaret Pattee. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church P.O.
