Funeral service for Estelle Pickens, 86, Geronimo, will be at 1:00pm Friday, March 20, 2015 in the Antioch Baptist Church, South of Lawton with Rev. Vivian Garza, Pastor officiating. Mrs. Pickens passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in a Lawton hospital. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born January 24, 1929 in Lawton, Oklahoma to James A. and Ethel (Actkinson) Rhodes. She married Reaford A. "Dude" Pickens on May 17, 1947 in Lawton. He passed away August 19, 2009. She worked for Montgomery Wards for 25 years and had worked some at Anthony's and for the phone company. She was an active member of the Good Cheer Home Extension Club in Geronimo, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Survivors include her three children, Jim and Beth Pickens of Austin, TX, Barbara and Ken Bowen of Lawton, OK, Denise and Robert Floyd of Lawton, OK, seven grandchildren, Jamie and Allen Gallia of Austin, TX, Jennifer and Michael McGrail of Lawton, OK, Brian and Holley Floyd of Lawton, OK, Ashley Kamrath of Austin, TX, David Pickens of Georgetown, TX, Jason Floyd of Oklahoma City, OK, Marc Pickens of Georgetown, TX, four great grandchildren, Blake McGrail, Emily Gallia, Chloe Floyd and Cassidy Floyd. She is also survived by a special niece and nephews, Aubrena and Matt O'Neal of Italy, Allen Rhodes and Noah R. O'Neal. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Ernest E.
