Funeral service for Eric Gray will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel.

Family will greet friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Eric Gray, 60, of Cache, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at his home. He was born on July 10, 1962 in Norfolk, Virginia to Stacy and Jessie (Guynn) Gray. He grew up in the Concord, Virginia area until he left to follow his passion in powersports.

Eric was instrumental in helping Altus Motorsports achieve two consecutive Stock 1000 championships: the first one in 2020 with Cameron Petersen, and the second one in 2021 with Jake Lewis. And he was ready to go for a third Stock 1000 title in 2023, with Brandon Paasch returning for a second season aboard the team's Suzuki GSX-R1000R.

Eric Gray is gone, but the passion that the man had for motorcycle road racing is his living legacy.

Gray matters, and to the man in the black fedora, Godspeed.

Eric is survived by his mother, Jessie Gray; brother, Charles Gray and sister, Stacia Ann Gray.

He was preceded by his father, Stacy Gray.
