Services are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Emalyn Kelly Johnston-Stewart was born June 10, 2010, in Fort Knox, Kentucky. She was vibrant, loving, kind, caring, funny and incredibly talented in so many ways among many other things. Her first and foremost love was to wrestling. There, she achieved not one but two back-to-back state wrestling titles. She spent countless hours a week on the mats and dedicated her life to attempting to place at a high school state championship for her sophomore year at Eisenhower High School. She was an avid supporter of coaching wrestling with her siblings through Cache Wrestling Club and anyone who she could be overjoyed to be in the corner for. She made friends from all over the country through wrestling, never meeting a stranger. Her second love was to football. Though her time was cut short in playing to no fault of her own, she dedicated herself to coaching her brother's youth football teams for the Cache Bulldogs and quickly found her biggest passion yet. She counted down the minutes to being on the field supporting them and being their biggest hype man and was grateful for the opportunity to just being there and being around the kids. Though she was one of the most talented athletes, she was an even better coach, friend, daughter and sister. She participated for many years in JROTC and the partners club working alongside the special Olympics with youth. She was determined to be involved to make sure her younger sister always felt included. She was an avid Taylor Swift fan and instantly gained the title of everyone's "little swiftie". She also participated for many years with BJJ more recently with Alpha MMA and Dreadnought where she gained even more friends and family. She worked tirelessly to get herself ready for college, hoping to one day to achieve an admission to the University of Tennessee where she would have hoped to earn her degree in special education. She was her mama's world and her Kevin's girl through and through. She loved to watch the Kentucky Wildcats and Green Bay packers while bantering with her mom on plays and what she would have done better. She was an avid reader one day hoping to have had a library as big as belles! I know through her passion for sports and volunteering, she gained so many friends and family that she loved so dearly and would want them to continue forward the same thing we always told her, "GO BE GREAT!".
