Graveside funeral service for Elza Mae Queen will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2025 in Letitia Cemetery with Rev. Matt Kelly, Pastor of Letitia Baptist Church officiating.

Arrangements are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Elza Mae Doye Ford Queen passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 98. She was born to Willie and Ruth P. (Dean) Doye on June 10, 1927 southeast of Lawton. She was born again and baptized at Letitia Baptist Church in 1939 at the age of 12.

She was a 1944 graduate of Lawton High School and attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She married Paul L. Ford in Lawton on July 21, 1946. He passed away April 21, 1973. They raised two sons and farmed east of Lawton. Mrs. Queen also worked Civil Service at Fort Sill. She married Jack B. Queen in Duncan, Oklahoma on October 6, 1978. He passed away September 27, 1996.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel P. Ford and wife Sharon K. Ford, and Steven L. Ford; a granddaughter, Melanie R. Langford and her husband Clint Langford; three great grandchildren, Caleb Langford, Brook Slade and her husband Wyatt Slade, and Collin Langford and his wife Whitney Langford, and great great grandbaby Langford on the way in 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both spouses, her brother, four sisters, and her daughter-in-law, Vonta L. Ford.
