Graveside service for Elvira A. Beck, 74, Lawton, will be 11:00 am Monday, August 4, 2014 in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Mrs. Beck died Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Lawton. Burial will be under the Direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born October 21, 1939 in Altwasser, Czechoslovakia to Alios and Emilia Jahn. She married MSG (Retired) George J. Beck, Jr. on February 17, 1961 in Schwabisch Gmund, Germany. He died September 17, 2006. During her husband's Army career they were stationed in Germany four times and in Tyler, Texas. She was a homemaker to five boys. Her favorite pastimes were working in her yard, cooking, traveling, music, decorating her home and driving fast. She had attended St. Barbara's Catholic Church and Holy Family Catholic Church. She is survived by four sons, Tommy D. Beck, David L. Beck, Michael A. Beck and Dean A. Beck all of Lawton; four grandchildren, Nigel E. Beck, Nicole A. Beck, Brittany Beck and Amanda Beck; several great grandchildren, a brother, Ewald Jahn and wife Margaret of Germany and a sister, Irmgard of Germany. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, Larry W. Beck, two brothers, Wilfred and Erwin Jahn and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Lampman.
