Age 64, Snyder - Funeral services will be at 2:30 pm Wednesday in the Becker Funeral Home Chapel, Snyder with Rev. Patrick McPherson, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Snyder officiating. Mrs. Schoonover died Monday at her home following a lengthy illness. *** The family will greet friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm. *** Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. She was born November 1, 1943 in Morris, Oklahoma to Earl Dee and Minnie (Aggis) Burris. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she lettered on the Women's softball team as a catcher and excelled in athletics. She married Vic Schoonover on November 15, 1963 in Norman, OK. She was a member of the United Methodist Church all of her life. She sold real estate and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband Vic of the home, two sons, Mark and his wife Christina Schoonover of Vernon, TX, Bruce Schoonover of Snyder, OK, daughter-in-law, Brenda Schoonover of League City, TX, and nine grandchildren, Matthew, Julia, Lauren, Braeden, Zane, Tucker, Conner, Cheyenne and Montana. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Todd, two brothers, Earl, Jr. and Charles and a grandson Weston.
