Elizabeth Carol Roberts Wood (Betty) daughter of pioneer parents Troy and Vera Roberts, passed away after a short illness at her daughters home in Houston, TX on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.  She graduated from Midwestern University in Wichita Falls and taught school in the Valley View School District near Wichita Falls, TX.  She later went into business in Electra, TX as the owner of Electra Floral, before moving to Houston, TX to be near her children.  She was a beloved mother to sons Buddy Wood and Kenny Wood, daughter Candace Rodriguez, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel, Snyder, OK with Pastor Jim Roberts, Lawton, OK officiating.  The family will greet friends Sunday afternoon, March 27, 2016 at the funeral home in Snyder from 12pm until 4pm.

Betty was a Godly woman who always put Jesus first in her life.  We know she's rejoicing in heaven now.
