Memorial Service for Elizabeth "Liz" McGowen will be Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 am in Harmony Church, 902 NW Columbia Ave., Lawton, OK.

Elizabeth "Liz" McGowen, age 30, of Oklahoma City, passed away on January 12, 2026. She was born on May 19, 1995.

Liz was a proud resident of Oklahoma City and was employed by Harper Construction, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She brought warmth and kindness into every space she entered and had a natural ability to make others feel welcomed and valued.

Liz had a deep love for dogs and children, and her caring spirit showed in how easily she connected with both. She also enjoyed her shoe collection and took great pleasure in finding the best deals-whether shopping around town or browsing online. Above all, Liz cherished her many friends, who meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Aaron, and her son, Jace.

She is survived by her parents; her brother, Mitchell; and her sister-in-law, Vivian.

Liz will be remembered for her generous heart, her enthusiasm for life's simple pleasures, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
