Elizabeth "Janie" Gatliff Bollinger (formerly Little) passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the well fulfilled age of 74. Born on February 9, 1952, to Richard Jr. and Betty Bearden Gatliff in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was dependable, authoritative, respected, and was always looking out for everyone, a true matriarch, especially in the years following the loss of her mother. Elizabeth's life was one of immense love, close family, and motherly devotion to not only her two daughters, but numerous other daughters-in-choice, and all of her grandchildren. In 1982 she bought her first home on 18ᵗʰ Street at just 26. There she raised her two girls, Rebecca and Jacqueline. She held a plethora of jobs to provide for her girls over the years, from Helens to Hertz and later property management. Janie was loved by all she served for her charm, wit, grit, and incredible empathy towards others who were "down on their luck."

In her own words, Elizabeth has "Gone Home" to re-join her parents and beloved husband Richard Bollinger

She leaves behind her three brothers, two daughters, 6 grandchildren, and 3 Great Grands, as well as a mélange of nieces, nephews, dear friends, and other extended relations. She leaves a "hole" in this family's heart, but we are all happy for her, knowing she's having the best reunions, the biggest laughs, and likely putting a good word in for all of us down here.
