Funeral service for Elfriede Russell will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bob Quinnett of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiating.

Inurnment for Frank and Elfriede Russell will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2023 at Fort Sill National Cemetery Elgin, OK.

Elfriede Russell, 86, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Elfriede was born on July 29, 1936 in Germany and attended trade school where she learned how to sell products. She met the love of her life, Frank J. Russell while he was stationed in Germany with the US Army, and they were married on April 6, 1957 in Neu-Ulm, Germany. After his retirement they moved around until finally settling in Lawton. She worked for K-mart in Oklahoma City and Gibson's and Wal-Mart in Lawton in retail sales until her retirement. She enjoyed watching T.V., working in her yard and especially shopping.

She is survived by her son, Frank Russell and wife Terry, grandson, Michael Russell, and four grandchildren, Autumn Ann May, Breianna Russell, Mathias Russell, and Nevaeh Russell.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
