A visitation and celebration of life for Eldon Ray Beatty will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

There will be no formal services held.

Eldon Ray Beatty, 85, Snyder, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at his home in Snyder.  He was born June 25, 1933 in Comanche, Oklahoma to G.P. and Flay (Sears) Beatty.    He graduated from Hobart High School in 1952.  He served in the US Army for a brief period of time before receiving a medical discharge.  He married Maxine Hoover on July 16, 1954.  Together they had three children, Gale, Charlotte and Cheryl.  Eldon farmed the same land in Kiowa County for 57 years, under the same lease with no change.

Eldon is survived by his wife Maxine of the home, his three children, Gale and Jana, Charlotte and Kevin Jones and Cheryl and Mike Moses.  He is also survived by  his grandchildren, Travis Chapman, Jamie and JD McCoy, Brian Beatty, Brandi and Ryan Wheeler, Nancy Moses, Katy Moses, and great grandchildren, Anna, Dylan, Sara, Jett, Harper and Wilder and great-great grandchildren, Easton and Braylee.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Snyder FFA Chapter, PO Box 368, Snyder, OK 73566.
