Edna Roberta Nauman was born on February 25, 1933, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to parents Robert and Gladys Allison. She departed peacefully to Heaven on January 9, 2026, while residing for the last three years of her life with her daughter, JoAnna Hulett (Hal), in Odessa, Texas.
She's preceded in death by her husband and sister.
Edna grew up in Lawton and met the love of her life, Robert R. Nauman. They were married on March 8, 1951. She faithfully followed her husband to California while he was in basic training with the U.S. Army at Fort Roberts. They lived in Paso Robles, California—years Edna often recalled as some of the happiest of her life.
Afterward, they returned to Oklahoma and resided in Medicine Park before settling in Lawton, where Edna raised their four children.
Edna was a devoted member of Beal Heights Presbyterian Church, where she served in many ministries including Women of the Church, the Clothes Closet, choir, and Vacation Bible School. Her faith and church family were a central part of her life.
She also served as a co-leader for Girl Scouts, where her creativity shined. Edna had a deep love for gardening and took great pride in her peonies, often sharing them with her children's teachers, neighbors, and friends. She also took pride in making the wedding dresses for her daughters, grand daughter and niece.
For several years, Edna lovingly cared for two precious neighborhood children. One of her many talents was her homemade delights, especially her beloved Christmas cookies and candies, which became treasured traditions.
Along with raising her family, Edna loved her many cats and dogs over the years , who were very fortunate to be called her cherished pets. She leaves behind her precious Pinkie Lou.
She especially enjoyed traveling to Branson, Missouri, with her husband, sister, and brother-in-law on many occasions, including memorable family reunions.
As her daughters married, Edna made sure all of her sons-in-law knew they were her favorites.
In her later years, Alexa became a helpful—if sometimes frustrating—"frenemy."
Edna is survived by her children, Cheryl Stone (Roy) of Chino Hills, California; JoAnna Hulett (Hal) of Odessa, Texas; Bernard Nauman of Lawton; and Jayne Foreman (Steve) of Phoenix, Arizona. She is survived by her grandchildren: Sabra Hall (Dustin), Benjamin Hulett (Dianna), Candace Sincic (Eddie), and Andrea Mitchell (Caleb); and her great-grandchildren: Delaney Hall, Jace Hall, Owen Hulett, Iris Hulett, and Douglas Sincic.
She is also survived by her brother, Bob Hill (Brenda) of Virginia. She was also blessed with many beloved nieces, wonderful neighbors and great friends.
