Age 92, Lawton - Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church with Dr. William F. Watkins and Ken Couch officiating. Mrs. Meyer died Saturday at her residence. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Edna was born September 17, 1917 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma to Edwin Wilson and Maggie (Cable) Allen. She moved to Fletcher at the age of two and was a 1935 graduate of Fletcher High School. She attended beauty school in Oklahoma City and worked as a hairdresser for over fifty years. She married Raymond Maurice Meyer on January 5, 1946 in Lawton. Edna was a member of the First Baptist Church and had served as the secretary in the Young Adult II Sunday School Department for over fifty years. She is survived by her husband, of the home; a granddaughter and her husband, Chelsea and Seth Callen, Lawton; a great granddaughter, Josie Callen; a daughter in law, Teresa Meyer, Lawton; numerous nieces and nephews.
