Graveside service for Edith L. Boyd will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, November 12, 2021 at Pecan Cemetery, southwest of Lawton.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends from 6-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Edith L. Boyd passed away in Lawton on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the age of 87.  She was born Edith L. Cothren on January 6, 1934 in Cache, Oklahoma to James and Florence Cothren.  Edith married Eugene Boyd in 1952 and together they had two children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers and four sisters.

Edith is survived by  a son, Monte Boyd and his wife, Pam of Chickasha, Oklahoma, daughter, Vickie O'Connor and her husband, John of Rogers, Arkansas, five grandchildren, Chris Boyd, Jay Boyd, Kacie Morris, Jennifer Staats and Kelsey Schenk and twelve great grandchildren, Madilyn Boyd, Mallory Boyd, Ryan Boyd, Jaylyne Boyd, Paige Boyd, Bailee Hacker, Kodie Hacker, Owen Schenk, Emma Staats, Grace Staats, Harper Staats and Willow Staats.
