Graveside service for Edith (Doscher) Benson will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 7, 2025 at Fort Sill National Cemetery.

Edith (Doscher) Benson age 86, of Lawton, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 in Lawton.  She was born June 21, 1938 in Konigsberg, Prussia.  She worked at Motorola in Quincy, Illinois and then at the Fort Sill Post Exchange for over twenty years.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, Roger Doscher, her son, Eddie Lee Doscher, six brothers and sisters and a daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Doscher.

She is survived by her husband, Gunnar W. Benson, three children and one step-daughter, Franz Doscher, Lena Doscher,Tony Doscher and Cheryl Holcomb, all of Lawton and Carmen Toegel, Tulsa, Oklahoma, five grandkids, eight great grandkids and one great great grandson.
