Graveside service for Eddie W. Hankins will be at 2:00 pm Monday, September 12, 2016 in the Mountain Park Cemetery with Bob Boren, Frederick, OK officiating.

Burial will be in the Mountain Park Cemetery under the director of Becker- Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

The family will greet friends Sunday afternoon at the funeral home in Snyder from 3pm until 5pm.

Eddie Wayne Hankins, 81, Mountain Park, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 in a Snyder nursing home.  He was born May 14, 1935 in Mountain Park to Claude and Artie Edna (Noble) Hankins.  Eddie graduated from Mountain Park High School in 1953.  He served in the US Army and with the Oklahoma National Guard.  He married Patricia Ann Smith on July 18, 1959 in Bethesda, MD.  She passed away January 29, 2006.  Eddie was an Ironworker for many years, and after his retirement he enjoyed farming and taking care of his animals.

He is survived by his two children, Debra Garza and husband Johnny of Frederick, OK, Toby Hankins of Mountain Park, OK, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and several cousins, numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his daughter Linda Crider.
