Graveside service for Edd Brooks, 79, Lawton will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mr. Brooks died on Tuesday in Lawton. He was born July 22, 1931 in Lookeba, OK to Loren and Margie Lou (Mullens) Sparks. Mr. Brooks graduated from Lawton High School in 1950. He married Patsy Ruth Nunley on September 8, 1951 in Lawton, OK. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. Survivors include two sons, Gary "Mac" Brooks and Tracy Brooks both of Lawton; a daughter, Cindy Duplissey of Ooltewah, Tennessee; two grandsons, Jason Doan and wife Kristie of Signal Mountain, TN and Travis Brooks of Lawton; a granddaughter, Dee Dee Morgon and husband Don of Lawton; three great-grandchildren, Jayden and Kennedy Doan and Sterling Lauren Morgon; two sisters, Louella McAffe of Lawton and Anna Mae Taylor and husband John of Lawton and many other relatives and friends.
