Memorial service for Ed Jantzen will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Barnes, Pastor, Lawton First Assembly officiating.

Ed Jantzen, age 89, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in Lawton. He was born May 10, 1926 in Corn, Oklahoma to Peter E. and Willie C. (Steward) Jantzen. He grew up in the Hammon area and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Faye Andrews on May 21, 1954 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma.

Following his return from the war he completed his high school degree. Ed moved to Lawton in the 1960's and worked as a salesman. He attended Lawton First Assembly.

Ed is survived by his wife, Faye; four sons and a daughter in law, Larry Jantzen, Lawton, Lynn and Margaret Jantzen, Panama City Beach, Florida; Doug Jantzen, Dallas, Texas and Barry D. Jantzen, Walters, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; a sister Florene Vignal; several nieces and nephews.

A son, Dwayne Jantzen, four brothers, Orville, Orland, Dwight and Paul, and a sister, Velma, preceded him in death.
