Memorial service for Elvin Burnice "E.B." Thompson will be at 1:00 pm Monday, February 8, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Rev. Les Bussell, Pastor of the Snyder United Methodist Church officiating.

E.B. Thompson, 81, Abilene, TX was born September 13, 1934 in Sunset, TX to the late Bill and Lucille Thompson. He graduated high school in Snyder, OK. E.B. worked as a welder, carpenter, and small engine repairman. He loved hunting and fishing. He was also a well-known Square Dance Caller in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma for many years.

He is survived by his brother Bill Thompson of Springerville, AZ, his daughters Dorinda Jackson of Abilene, TX, and Donna Ellis of Dallas, TX, his cousin who was like a son to him, Rusty Wilkes of Snyder, OK, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a niece and her son, a nephew and many much loved cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Salvation Army.
