Earl Raymond Palmer, 82, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Born on November 20, 1942, in Checotah, Oklahoma, Earl was the son of Raymond Palmer and Iva Brand. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, rising to the distinguished rank of Command Master Chief Petty Officer-the highest rank attainable by a non-commissioned sailor. He shared a loving and enduring marriage with his best friend and soulmate, Cheryl Palmer. Earl found great joy in the company of his loved ones and had a lifelong appreciation for country music.

Earl is survived by his two sons, David Palmer and Michael Palmer, and his cherished grandchildren: Cheryl Anne Palmer, Michelle Palmer, Thaxter Palmer, Thor Palmer, Bradley Palmer, Tristan Palmer, and Mitchell Palmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
