Memorial service for Earl Stanley Mack III will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Lawton First Assembly with Rev. Gary Pratt, Associate Pastor, officiating.
Earl Stanley Mack III was born on May 19, 1979, and went to heaven on September 3, 2026. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Earl and Opal Mack. He is survived by his loving wife Amanda and daughter Alysa, of the home, son Jalen and fiancé Preet of Edmond, Oklahoma, his father Earl Mack Jr. and wife Nadine of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, his mother Kim Berry and husband Luther of Columbia, South Carolina, his father and mother-in-law Bill and Robin Tenis of Lawton, Oklahoma, his sister Nicol Mack of Seattle, Washington, chosen family members, the Moseby family, multiple nieces, and a host of treasured family and friends.
Earl was born in Seattle, Washington and moved between Hawaii, Oklahoma, and Georgia, before settling in Lawton upon meeting the love of his life, Amanda Tenis, whom he married on May 18, 2002, following a year of dating. Their 25-year love story brought them 2 beautiful children, Jalen Anthony and Alysa Reece, who were Earl's pride and joy. Earl was a loving husband and a devoted father. He loved sharing his passion for basketball with his children and served as a coach for their teams throughout their childhood. He loved having family game nights with his wife and children, and his competitive spirit, which is shared by his family, made for a lively showdown that will be remembered fondly for years to come, especially the way he would win even when his wife and children teamed up against him.
Earl graduated from Cameron University in 2006 where he excelled as a starting point guard for the Aggies. He could often be heard bragging about his "court vision" even in everyday life, which he claimed was due to his often-said phrase, "cause I'm a point guard." He was a die-hard North Carolina Tarheels fan and always said March Madness was The Most Wonderful Time of the Year. His brilliant mathematical mind led to a 20-year career in banking, beginning as a Credit Analyst, before promoting to Credit Analyst Manager, and ultimately becoming the Senior Vice President, Credit Administrator for Arvest Bank Southwest Oklahoma. His greatest professional accomplishment was that of being a coach, trainer, and mentor for young analysts and lenders. His love of numbers and passion for accounting led to his son following in his footsteps and earning his CPA, which made Earl endlessly proud.
Earl loved music and movies, specifically Kendrick Lamar and Marvel, which he passed along to Alysa, and it became a pastime they shared and enjoyed together. They never missed a Marvel movie release and could be found at the theater on every opening night. His favorite way to spend his time was at his wife's side doing simple things that meant everything, including shopping trips, dining out, traveling the state to watch their kids play basketball, watching their favorite shows, or reading their Bible before bed.
Earl was loved far and wide by everyone who met him and left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be remembered with love and gratitude for his gentle spirit and sense of humor. Though his time on earth was far too short, his was a life well lived and we know that as he took his final breath on earth, he WALKED into the arms of Jesus.
