Memorial service with military honors and Masonic Rites for Dwight David Stodola, 58, Lawton, will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tom Willoughby officiating. Mr. Stodola died Thursday at his residence. The family will greet friends from 4-6 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. He was born February 28, 1952 in Monterey, California to Roland W. and Rose Alice (Schultz) Stodola. He married Linda K. Helms on November 23, 1971 in Lawton. He served as a Specialist 5 in the Army for seven years. He was stationed in Germany and Washington State. In 1979 he went to work for his father and mother-in-law ; Jere and Mary Helms at Helms Jewelry. He bought the business in 1994. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Mount Scott Masonic Lodge #540. Survivors include his wife, of the home, two daughters and their spouses; Melissa D. and Eric Beck, Lawton and Kathrene and Joshua Gano, Oklahoma City, two granddaughters; Walden W. Beck and Luna S. Beck, both of Lawton, his mother; Rose Alice Self, El Paso, Texas, three brothers and their spouses; Roland, Jr. and Peggy Stodola and Gary and Cecilia Stodola, all of Carrolton, Texas and Tim and Denise Stodola, Pilot Pointe, Texas, a sister and spouse; Jacqueline Jean and John Pisanich, Carrrolton, Texas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
