A special family greeting for Dustin Lyerly will be held from 6-8 pm Monday, January 22, 2018 at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Dustin Lyerly, age 36, Lawton, died Monday, January 15, 2018 in Lawton.  He was born June 12, 1981 in Greensboro, North Carolina.  He grew up in North Carolina and enlisted in the U.S. Army at a young age.  He served two tours of duty in Afghanistan and was retired from the Army as a Staff Sergeant in 2012.  Following his retirement he earned an associate degree with honors in Criminal Justice.

Dustin married Kyrston Koernig on October 1, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He was a member of the DAV and enjoyed traveling and cooking.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; four children, Tyler, Gaige, Zane and Isabela; his mother, Edith Lyerly, brothers and sisters-in-law, Richie and Rillar Ehrenreich and Mark and Vanessa Eizenga; sisters, Cristy Lyerly and Taylor Levan; his mother-in-law, Diana King; and his father-in-law, Jon Koernig.
