Age 70, Lawton - A Memorial service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, January 29 at her home. Mrs. Pennington died Friday in Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born June 13, 1937 in Orienta, Oklahoma to Jess and Alvine (Kliewer) Schroeder. She married Donald Jackson on July 27, 1956 in Lawton. He died in 1981. She married Stephen Pennington on January 9, 1985 in Lawton. Survivors include her husband, of the home, five children and their spouses, Debra A. and Howard Ashwood, Muskogee, Delbert and Kaye Jackson, Lawton, Douglas Jackson, Henderson, Nevada, Byron and Cindy Pennington and Mark and Janie Pennington, all of Lawton, three sisters, Reba McCuiston, Indiahoma, Tommy and Bud DeVine, Majave Valley, Arizona and Neva Young, Shreveport , Louisiana, former daughter-in-law, Julie Jackson, Las Vegas, Nevada, eleven grandchildren, Michael Ashwood and his wife Kimberly, Tucson, Arizona, Thom Ashwood and his wife Katherine, Muskogee, Kelly Jackson and Donald Jackson, both of Bullhead City, Arizona, Tonya Jackson and Sara Jackson, both of Las Vegas, Matthew Pennington, Amber Pennington, Kris Pennington, Conner Pennington and Katen Pennington, all of Lawton, and two great grandchildren, Deborah Ashwood, Tucson and T. J. Ashwood, Muskogee. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, a sister and her father and mother-in-law.
