Age 85, Elgin - Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday in the First Baptist Church, Fletcher, with Rev. Rodney Campbell, Pastor, officiating. Mrs. Dove died Thursday in Lawton. Burial with Navy honors will be in the Elgin Memorial Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (Formerly Robbins Funeral Home). She was born on December 16, 1923 in Altus to Carl Martin and Amy (Barrett) Schroeder. She worked for Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas and served in the US Navy. She married Curtis B. Dove in San Diego, California on April 11, 1949. She was a member of the USS Saratoga Association and the USS Benham Association. She was a Methodist. She loved to travel, being a prankster and enjoyed doing things for others. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mac Dove and Denise and Ray Dove and Helen, all of Elgin; six granddaughters and spouses, Lisa Skrastins and Mike of Columbus, Ohio, Laura Webb and Sammy of Lawton, April Bartlett and Dustin of Snyder, Janice Dove and fiancé, Will McComb, of Sayre, Amanda Jean Waller and Robert of Denver, Colorado, and Rachel June Babin and Chris of Oklahoma City; ten great grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Nathan, Jacob, Lance, Chance, Asher, Breleigh, Christian and Clayton; a brother and sister-in-law, Carl Martin Schroeder, Jr. and Betty of Columbia, South Carolina; two sisters-in-law, Barbara and Dorothy; two nieces and seven nephews. Her parents, two sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
