Dorothy "Dodie" Wilkinson, 87, Lawton, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Lawton. Viewing will be Monday, April 20, 2015 from 9am until 9pm at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home with the family to greet friends from 6pm until 8pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born September 4, 1927 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Jerome and Merle (Wagoner) Zumwalt. She married Freddie L. Wilkinson on February 27, 1947 in Frederick, Oklahoma. He passed away September 30, 2010. She enjoyed being a wife, and was a most loving mother to her two boys. No one ever left her home hungry. Dodie was retired civil service and was a member of the 8th & Lee Church of Christ. She is survived by her two sons, Brad Wilkinson of Clinton, OK, Brock Wilkinson and wife Susan of Cache, Ok, two grandchildren, Natasha Ryan Burkhart and husband Derek of Pratt, KS, Merle Brook Wilkinson of Oklahoma City and five great grandchildren, Ross, Sierra, Devon, Deavonte and Carlous, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother Jerome, Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to the 8th & Lee Church of Christ; 1205 SW 8th Street, Lawton, OK 73501.
