Graveside service for Dorothy Juanita Shrader, 88, formerly of Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Burial will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mrs. Shrader passed from this life on Saturday in Grapevine, Texas. She was born December 13, 1922, in Apache, Oklahoma, to Maclin and Mary Ethel (Richardson) Sudduth. Dorothy grew up in Lawton and attended Lawton High School. She was in sales for 21 years at Jack and Jill and the Parisian stores. She married Joseph Lester Shrader on September 26, 1942, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He died March 27, 1999. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Her children were the love of her life from their birth until her death. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Joe D. and Lena Shrader, Tyler, Texas, 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Janis and Barry Adams, Farmington, New Mexico, and Donna and Glen Idell, Colleyville, Texas. Dorothy also leaves behind her beloved cat, Callie. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
