Ag 90, Lawton - Memorial service will be held at a later date in Mesa, Arizona. Mrs. Lay died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at her home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. She was born on November 3, 1917 in Tampa, Florida to William George and Elizabeth (Monroe) Doyle. She married Richard A. Wilkes in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1937. He died in 1982. She married George Franklin Lay in Phoenix, Arizona in 1987. He died in 1991. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Larison of Mesa, Arizona, and Janice Logan and her husband, Earl, of Lawton; two stepdaughters, Diana Lay and Judith Harshman, both of Sun City, Arizona; nine grandchildren, Susan Jweid and her husband, John, of Utica, New York, Matthew Clampitt and his wife, Laurie, of Mesa, Arizona, Samantha Larison of Mesa, Arizona, Peter Larison and his wife, Maggie, of Tempe, Arizona, Brian Goodner of Austin, Texas, Mark Goodner and his wife, Jenn, of Austin, Texas, Christian Morren and her husband, Steve, of Norman, Aaron Logan and his wife, Amy, of Denton, Texas, and Jennifer Dominguez and her husband, Isaac, of San Diego, California; 15 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Both husbands, a stepson, George Lay, Jr., a grandson, Robert Larison, a son-in-law, Dave Larison, a sister and three brothers, preceded her in death.
