Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Kellison will be at 10:30 am Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Rev. Gary Kellison officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, OK.

The family will greet friends Friday evening, January 20, 2017 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Dorothy Mae Kellison, 76, Snyder passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Altus, OK.  She was born January 22, 1940 in Hollis, OK to William Q and Lora Mae Harris.  She grew up in Hollis with her siblings Billie Jean Williams and Jerry William Harris.  She married Bobby Gail Kellison on November 20, 1954 in Childress, TX.  To that union came four children, LaVonda, Robert, Deanie and Carla.  Dorothy was a beautician by trade and owned and operated her beauty shop in Frederick, OK while her children were growing up.  She later started to work as a training manager for 7-11 in Oklahoma City and worked there until her retirement.  She moved to Snyder, OK to be closer to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Above all else, she loved to cook, garden, spend time with her family and have family gatherings.

She is survived by her long-time companion Carl Petersen, sister-in-law Susan Harris, her three daughters, LaVonda Kopp and husband Jackie of Snyder, Deanie Breeze and husband Rodney of Snyder, Carla Schulz of Frederick, daughter-in-law Mary Kellison of Crestview, FL, her grandchildren, Brandi Moeller of Snyder, Kevin Kopp and wife Janie of Roosevelt, Kenny Kopp and wife Deja of Snyder, Tabetha Alaniz and husband John of Lawton, Brandon McCarty of Snyder, Bryan Norton and wife Shanna of Snyder, Jared Schulz of Frederick, Matthew Chipser of Altus, Christina Gray of Crestview, FL, Cory Chipser and wife Alycia of Temple, TX, Trail Breeze of Lawton, Sunni Breeze of Lawton, Heather Wheeler and husband Josh of Munster, TX, Branden Breeze and wife Desarae of Altus, Dustin Breeze of Snyder, 24 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby, sister Billie Jean Williams, brother Jerry Harris, son Robert Kellison and a great grandson Braylin Dean Norton.
