Age 90, Lawton - Services will be at 2:00pm Friday at Central Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Miles, Pastor officiating. Mrs. Davis died Sunday morning, April 6, 2008 in Lawton. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. *** The Family will greet friends Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5:00pm until 7:00pm *** She was born in Doxey, Oklahoma on February 3, 1918 to Rufus and Della Green. She married Cecil Winston Davis on November 10, 1940 in Chattanooga, Oklahoma. He died April 24, 1983. Survivors include her daughter, Cleta of the home, a son and daughter-in-law, Weldon and Marilyn Davis of Bethany, OK, two grandchildren, Michelle Anderson and husband Marc of Edmond, OK, and Kent Davis also of Edmond, OK. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Christina, Reece, Quinn and Beck Anderson, three sisters, June and husband Rev. Edie Scroggins of Grand Junction, CO, Beulah Paschall of Fort Worth, Texas, Della Marie Owen of Sitka, AK, one brother-in-law, Robert L. Davis of Elk City, OK. Special remembrances to Ms. Rose Booker, her caregiver, Terry Stamper, her neighbor and friend and Richard and Carl Tahkofper, special friends and neighbors.
