Funeral service for Dorothea Gero will be 10:00 AM Monday, July 27, 2015 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel. Private family burial will follow at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. Dorothea Gero, age 85, of Lawton, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Lawton. She was born March 27, 1930 in Karbiz, Czechoslovakia. She married SSG (Retired) Janos Gero on December 9, 1959 in Damstein, Germany. She was a hard working and dedicated mother and wife. Survivors include her husband, of the home, two sons, Thomas James Gero, Midwest City, Oklahoma and John Kurt Gero, Tulsa, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Kevin, Paige and Jack Gero, a sister, Ingrid Engelhardt, Berlin, Germany and a brother, Seigfried Stech, Gunda, Germany.
