Funeral service for Doris Jean Carr will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 8, 2015 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William F. Watkins officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 9am until 12pm at the funeral home, prior to the service. Doris Jean Carr, 78, Lawton, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 in Lawton. She was born August 10, 1936 in Joinerville, TX to Ennis Sewell and Geneva (Gillaspy) May. She graduated from Maysville, OK High School in 1955. She married Etheridge Elmo Carr on June 29, 1957 in Oklahoma City. He passed away October 6, 1989. She is survived by her three children, Bryan E. Carr of Lawton, OK, Russell D. Carr and his wife Louise of Pensacola, FL, Teresa M. Reed of Lawton, OK, six grandchildren, Elizabeth Carr of Pensacola, FL, Jessica Carr of Pensacola, FL, Hannah Carr of Dallas, TX, Jon Ryan Donata and wife Brittany of San Antonio, TX, Jacob T. Donato of Houston, TX, Steven Donato, Jr. and wife Leann of Willis, TX, two great grandchildren, Landon Etheridge Donato of San Antonio, TX, Gage Alan Donato of Willis, TX and a close family friend, Steve Donato of Lawton, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Nelda Ruth Rushing.
