Funeral service for Doris Maudine Boren will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Bob Boren, Frederick, OK officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

*The family will greet friends Monday evening at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm.*

Doris Maudine Boren 86, died Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Altus, Oklahoma. She was born September 3, 1929 in Snyder to Guy Darvin and Minnie Lou Sue (Tyler) Thrash. She graduated from Snyder High school in 1948, and married William Jack Boren on September 11, 1948 in Vernon, TX. He passed away April 16, 2006. She was an awesome wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

She is survived by her son Joe Ray Boren and his wife Toni of Perryton, TX, a daughter Tena Marie Boren of Altus, OK, two siblings, Carol McCaskill and Lawrence Gee and his wife Shirley both of Marlow, OK and grandchildren; Kathi Boren of Elkhart, KS, BJ Boren of Perryton,TX, Jenny Ewing and Chris of Ocala, FL, TJ Boren and Tracy of Lawton, OK, Carmen Womack and James of Duncan, OK, William McNew of Duncan, OK, Jason Powell and Misty of Perkins, OK, Tosha Frye and Josh of Denver, CO, and great grandchildren; Angie Bearden of Amarillo, TX, Kayla Bearden of Perryton, TX, BreeAnna Martin of Elkhart, KS, Jessica Boren of Perryton, TX, Braddoch and Magnus Ewing both of Ocala, FL, William, Matt, Kayden and Zayne Boren all of Lawton, OK and Blake, Cheyenne and Arion Powell all of Perkins, OK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters Melba and Betty, 2 daughters Rita Gayle and Shirley Sue and a great grandson Michael Boren.
